South Canterbury Hunt Hilux Prize Draw

The South Canterbury Hunt Hilux Prize Draw is run by the South Canterbury Hunt Incorporated. Tickets will be $50 per ticket and will be available from the 3rd November 2023 to 2nd February 2024. This prize draw is a lottery and as such no tax deductible donation receipts will be issued. The lottery prizes are: 1st – 2023 Toyota Hilux SR5 Cruiser SR5 2.8DT 6AT 4WD DCW/4D/5S (KFDTR-NM1), valued at $72,268 (including GST), 2nd – $1500 Cash, 3rd – $1000 Cash. The value is correct at the time of printing and may differ at the time of the prize draw. The total number of tickets offered in the lottery is 4000, ranging from 1001 to 5000 inclusive. All proceeds to go towards the purchase and development of property to secure the ongoing viability of the South Canterbury Hunt Incorporated.

The winner will be selected by a random selection by app by the New Zealand Police. The prize draw will take place on the 5th February 2024 at 11 am at the Timaru Police Station, 20 North Street, Timaru. The winners will be contacted directly and published on the SC Hunt Events Facebook Page on 5th February 2024, results will also be published in the Timaru Herald on the 6th February 2024. The winners grant permission for their details and image to be used for publicity and/or promotional purposes. The prize winners will be contacted in person, and notified in writing. They must provide sufficient evidence of their identity. Once the required evidence is provided South Canterbury Hunt representatives will arrange for the pick up of the Hilux from South Canterbury Toyota by the winner. Cash prizes will be paid as cash, or by bank transfer. If sufficient evidence is not provided within the required timeframe, the prize affected will be forfeited and re-drawn.

This prize draw is conducted by licence issued under Section 37 of the Gambling Act 2003. Licence approval number LT090000424 issued by the Department of Internal Affairs, 45 Pipitea Street, PO Box 10-095, Wellington 6011 – Phone 0800 2578 87. The names and contact details of those purchasing tickets will be retained to keep you informed of future offers, promotional events, or fundraising activities. You may check, update or remove your details from our records by contacting the South Canterbury Hunt using the details contained above. In the event of a cancellation all money will be refunded, and an announcement will be published on the SC Hunt Events Facebook Page and in the Timaru Herald.
